INTRODUCTION TO JAMES KOLAR, Chief Executive Officer
HUMAN BEHAVIOUR CONSULTANT SPECIALIST
James Kolar is a certified Human Behaviour
Consultant Specialist by Personality Insights as well as a
certified Effective Intelligence Instructor by Forrest
and Co (JD Rhodes). He has instructed countless people in
human behaviour from every walk of life. James has developed
custom training courses on communication skills, negotiations, conflict
resolution, and interviewing as well as many other aspects.
James has extensive experience in human behaviour, working for the Canadian Forces where he
learned, applied and then developed training and instructed specialized groups of soldiers at the national
level in preparation for deployment to Afghanistan and other duties. To further enhance his natural skills
in the area of human behaviour, James is also actively working on his degree in Psychology.

EXPERIENCE
Grandmaster James Kolar began Martial Arts
training in the fall of 1984. He has since studied Black Arts,
Combato, Bojuka, Wing Chun, Ninjutsu, Karate (Chito, Goju,
Kenpo), Aikido, Jujutsu, Hap Ki Do, Kickboxing, MMA, Tae Kwon Do, and Tai Chi.
Jim currently holds an 8th degree in Black Arts, 5th degree
belts in Ryukyu Kempo, Jujutsu, and Hap Ki Do. He also holds a
level 3 in Bojuka, Sifu in Wing Chun and 1st degree in Tae
Kwon Do (WTF). James is currently preparing for ranking in Ninjutsu.
Jim is a highly regarded and experienced instructor internationally.
He is the lead instructor of Military Close Quarter Combat, Police
Tactical Training, and Airline Security and Countermeasures courses
designed by the Black Arts Society. Formerly, he
was the founder and Chief Instructor for the Royals Unarmed Combat Team (London, ON), triOS College
Martial Arts Team and Black Arts Kabul. Previously, Jim was a founding
member and president of the Canadian Hapkido Federation, as well as a
coach for Team Canada. Other highly
regarded qualifications include being certified as a
PPCT Defensive Tactics Instructor
as well as a Ontario Use of Force Theory Instructor.
MILITARY & SECURITY EXPERIENCE
Warrant Officer James Kolar has extensive leadership/management training
and instructing experience with the Canadian Armed Forces
(Res), first joining in March 1988. He is currently employed with the 4th Battalion Royal Canadian Regiment.
He previously was employed as the Civil – Military Cooperation (CIMIC) Training Officer
for Land Force Central Area, and has served in Afghanistan
earning the General Campaign Star as well as the Commander's
Coin for outstanding performance. James is also a Certified
Human Behaviour Consultant Specialist and instructs Human
Behaviour to troops preparing to deploy overseas. James has
worked in various other positions including Company Sergeant
Major, Platoon Warrant, Recruiting NCO, Transport NCO, Company
Quartermaster, Section Commander, Armoured Crew Commander,
Section Second-in-command, Infantry Rifleman, Armoured
Crewman, Test Driving combat vehicles, and Driver Storesman.
James also worked as the WAN/MAN/LAN Manger for Garrison Support
Unit London where he supported the DND network and all
computers within 31 Brigade (from Windsor to
Hamilton).
His military qualifications include

SAR TECH EXPERIENCE
James was heavily involved with the London Search
and Rescue Team as one of the founding members and
Vice-President for the first three years, providing expertise
in ground search and rescue with secondary qualifications in
water rescue and high-angle rescue. James has successfully
completed courses on Search Management, Wilderness First Aid,
Introduction to Ground Search and Rescue, Advanced Ground
Search and Rescue (Team Leader), Introduction to Rugged
Terrain Rescue, Introduction to Tracking, Respect in the
Organization, and Radio Operator. James is a Hug-a-tree
Facilitator which is a program developed by the RCMP to help
educate children on what to do if they should get lost. The
Search and Rescue Team is a division of St John Ambulance,
where James also previously fulfilled the duties of Divisional Officer,
First Aid Instructor, AED Instructor and Casualty Simulator for the
London-Middlesex Brigade.
SCUBA EXPERIENCE
Assistant Instructor/Divemaster
James has been diving with Cross Current Divers London since the
spring of 1999. Since his Open Water course he has completed
PADI Professional courses such as Advanced SCUBA, Underwater
Rescue, Divemaster and Assistant Instructor courses. James has
also completed requirements for Master Diver with specialties
in Nitrox Diver, Deep Water Diver, Boat Diver, Night Diver,
Drift Diver, Wreck Diver and DAN/PADI O2 Provider. Jim has
logged well over 250 dives under various conditions all over
the world. James is working towards full Instructor
certification and has assisted teaching and divemastering for
countless courses since December 2000.
COMPUTER EXPERIENCE
James has been working in
the computer industry since 1987 where he first worked as a computer programmer/data
analyst for the Federal Government. Since then James has mantained industry certification
and continues to actively consult for numerous companies and corporations providing support as
a systems integration specialist and project manager.
Over the years James has achieved industry certification in
CUSA, CCNA, MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, MCP+I, MCT, A +, Network +, I-Net +,
Security +, Project + and Linux +. James ran his own successful
computer consulting business, Information Frontiers, for seven
years. James has over 14 years experience as a professor, instructing
Network Engineering at both public and private colleges. |
